Betty Lorene Green, age 84, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020. Born Tuesday, April 30, 1935 in Henderson, Kentucky, she is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lorene Henderson Benson.
Mrs. Green retired from Castner~Knotts Department store after serving in many capacities; she is survived by her husband of 68 years, Everett Green; nephews, Harry Miller and Nelson (Marie) Boyd.
Mrs. Green enjoyed crochet, bowling, jigsaw puzzles, doing water color and computer games....she was never without her iPad.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Friday, March 6, 2020 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Baugh officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Green at a visitation Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee
