Annette B. Escue

Annette Escue, age 85, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023. She was born Monday, December 20, 1937 in Sumner County, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Odell and Annie Elizabeth Grubbs Briley; husband, Henry R. Escue; sisters, Dorothy Escue, Evelyn Escue; step-children Henry Justin Escue and Julie Escue Armstrong Henderson.

Mrs. Escue, a beautician and caregiver; she loved to feed her family and friends, kept her family abreast with their ancestry, loved having her family in her home, especially for holidays. She grew the most beautiful flowers. As a hair stylist, in her earlier days, was taking care of family and friends as well as her shop customers. Everyone loved her.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Loretta Tamba, Tambra (Gary) Hunt; step-daughter, Shirley Mills; grandchildren, Christopher (Kim) Escue, Lanessa (Alex) Bueno, Andra (Luis) Armstrong, Dahlia (David) Swatzell, Sara (Tim) Holloway, Heather Brown, Brandon Thompson Daniel Armstrong, Matthew (Brandy) Mills, Brook Thompson; great-grandchildren, Chris (Sara) Escue, Lucas Bueno, Nina Bueno, Ian Swatzell, Mia Swatzell, Steven Mills, Syrenna Mills, Lilith Mills and Layla Mills.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who have joined us in honoring the life of our Mother and Grandmother Annette Escue.

Our love extends to you, her extended family, and friends of which there are many.
