Anna Ruth Reed

Anna Ruth Harwell Reed, age 93, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Born Thursday, August 3, 1922 in Blanche, Tennessee, she is preceded in death by her parents Rev. W. L. and Wilma Margaret Beasley Harwell; husband, W. Aubrey Reed; son, William Reed.

Mrs. Reed was a member of Dalewood United Methodist Church and Old Hickory United Methodist Church; she enjoyed cross stitch and quilting.

Mrs. Reed is survived by her son, Bob (Sandra) Reed; grandchildren, Guy (Renee) Reed, Eric Reed, Jennifer (Rob) Wethington; great-grandchildren, Caleb Wethington, Emily Wethington and Anna Grace Reed.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Hubert Cunningham and David Winton officiating; vocalist will be Mariam Swift.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with active pallbearers, Guy Reed, Eric Reed, Caleb Wethington, Rob Wethington, Kenneth Wilson; honorary pallbearers will be the Kingdom Builder's Sunday School Class.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Reed at a visitation Friday, August 7, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN 37072
