Tina and Nanna have given me something to smile about for the rest of my life.  Every time I hear "Dance Floor" I will see Nanna, Tina, and that baby!!  Great job Tina and Laurie!

I will always treasure the memories of Mrs. Jean being a kind friend to my mother when they were both at assisted living. Blessings to Tina, and all of Mrs. Jean's family and friends as they remember a wonderful lady.

I have many wonderful memories of Aunt Jean and Uncle Joe while visiting during our vacations from Michigan.  So much love being shared in their home.  You are where you belong now, back together with your Love and so many other special people.  Earth has no sorrows that Heaven cannot heal.  Hugs to you all during the days and months to follow.

Mrs. Jean; always had a smile for me whenever I'd visit, always gave me a genuine hug and a peck on the cheek, and a, "So glad to see you!"

One of my favorite memories was made just a few months ago...from her hospital bed at Tina's, she was busy "counting" (she had retreated back to her bank teller days), and she nonchalantly looked up at me and said, "Would you tell that girl (nodding at Tina who was busy in the kitchen) to come help me so we can get this done?" So I obediently turned to Tina and told her that her mom wanted her, to which Tina, without missing a beat, replied, "I'm off the clock, I've already clocked out!" So Mrs. Jean calmly said to herself, "Ok, I guess I'll do it myself!" 
Tina and Laurie were SO good at just going along with whatever sinario they found themselves in with caring for their mom!! It was PRICELESS watching them care for their mama!! You were blessed by having her as your mom, and she was equally blessed by having you as her daughters!

I have such fond memories of Jean and Joe. Teaching my children and myself to camp the tough way, learning to ski and just being friends. Whatever would I have done and who else would I want to keep my baby. She was the most awesome sitter. I knew I had nothing to worry about. She even taught Wade to drink coffee  even though I don't think she put much coffee in it. Jean is truly a Christian lady and I know Joe is at gates door waiting for her. Love ya Tina and Laurie.

What awesome memories I have of Aunt Jean....Mom sending me and Tina on an AmTrack train from Decatur, AL to Nashville one summer when we were under 12 yrs of age (who would do that these days?!).  Nanny Goldie and I visited a lot of summers...camped, learned to ski on Old Hickory Lake....Aunt Jean made those memories very special.  I know she loved me and I dearly loved her.  Heaven gained an angel.  Uncle Joe and Aunt Jean are finally reunited.  She will be missed here on earth but she--along with others who've gone on---inspires us to live such a good life to one day see them all again.  Prayers to her family for healing, comfort and strength in days to come. I love you all....

Our prayers are with this family as they celebrate the life of a beloved lady.  Her love for life was evident in the stories and memories that have been shared about her.  Her legacy of joy, faith, and hope will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing:  The Lord's unfailing love and mercy still continue, fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise.  The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope. -Lamentations 3:21-24

I loved my Aunt Jean! My heart is heavy but I know how happy my daddy was to be reunited with his big sister! I have so many wonderful memories of her. She always smelled so good and she made me feel so special every time I walked in her house. It was always a party with doughnuts, pizza, Olive Garden salad, and lots of chocolate. She knew how to have a fun time. She actually let us roll the neighbors and she enjoyed it just as much as we did.  I am so happy that our families were so close that Tina and Laurie, you were always like sisters. I am praying for you both and I love you

Sorry for your loss, Tina, but your mom is in the best place she could be.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, I know.  Blessings and prayers go out to the entire family.

Tina, I love you so much.  You are and will always be one of my favorite people.  From Mither's Day Out ("Vols no 1") to ladies retreats, to rescuing us w two flat tires, to hearing your skunk stories, to asking us to sing with your momma, to just seeing you pass by my house on your daily runs......YOU make me happy!  I love you and wish I could take away all the pain of your loss.  I look forward to seeing "Ms. Jean" and singing "I'll fly away" again.

I knew her as Nana Jean. Even though she wasn't my real nana that didn't stop her from welcoming me into the family as one of her own! I have fond memories of gathering at her home for Easter egg hunts and delicious meals. Such a kind and beautiful woman. She will be greatly missed!

Aunt Jean was one of a kind. Sweet and spice with a little sass! She would always kiss me and be afraid she got lipstick on me! We shared our love of Krispy Kreme donuts at every Easter Egg hunt. I loved eating her Mac 'n Cheese or just having Papa John's pizza! Aunt Jean will be greatly missed, but we rejoice in the fact that she's reunited with Uncle Joe in her Eternal Home with Jesus!
