Following in his father's footsteps, they worked together at Stephens Millwork, he was enjoyed fishing; and was a Dale Earnhardt fan. he is survived by his wife, Katherine "Kate" Boyd; son, Austin Boyd; step-children, Christopher Shane Brunton and Claire Perry; mother, Ruby Sutton Boyd; sisters, Brenda F. Cruise, Claudia K. Parrish, Deborah K. Williams; brothers, Larry W. Boyd and Jerry L. Boyd.
A celebration of life will be conducted 12:00 Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rockie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Austin, Shane, Brad, Larry, Jerry and Eddie.
