Rita Zamora Zamora Maldonado

Funeral Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas. Interment will follow at the Oso Cemetery in Cost, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas.

Rita was born May 22, 1946 in Gonzales, Texas. She was the daughter of Thomas and Francisca (Ortiz) Zamora. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since her Baptismal. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing.

Rita is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, four brothers; Aurelio Zamora and his wife; Hilaria of Gonzales, Texas, Lorenzo Zamora and his wife, Minnie of San Antonio, Texas, Prudencio Zamora of San Antonio, Texas, Frank Zamora of Lima, Ohio, two grandsons; Steven Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, John Paul Ugarte of Gonzales, Texas, one granddaughter; Ana Ugarte, one great grandson; Marcus Jay Ugarte.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Andres Riojas, husband; Guadalupe Riojas, three sisters; Irene Zamora, Tomasa Longoria, Victoria Rodriguez, two brothers; Paul Zamora, Thomas Zamora, Jr.
