Charles David Boyd

Charles Boyd, age 65, of Gonzales, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Charles was born on July 7, 1945 in Dover, N.J. to the late Thomas and Generva Boyd. Charles married Mozelle Leazer in Seguin, Texas on September 24, 1984. Charles was a truck driver for J B Hunt Trucking for 25 years. Charles is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Mozelle, one son: John Hoffman and wife Ashlyn, one daughter: Shirley Shears and husband Alex, two sisters, Linda Williver and husband William, Iris McDonald and husband Tom and three grandchildren: Amber, Shane and Keith Shears. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 9 am to 9 pm at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10 am in the Chapel at Buffington Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Calloway officiating. Burial will follow at the Harwood Cemetery.
