Zayd Rawashdeh

Zayd Rawashdeh, a resident of Prairieville, La passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the age of 16. He was a junior at Dutchtown High School. Zayd will be remembered for his big personality and his big heart. He had a way of making everyone smile. He loved his family, his friends, his teammates, soccer and working out at the gym. He played soccer for Dutchtown High School, Baton Rouge Soccer Club and formerly played for Ascension Flight Soccer Club. He is survived by his parents, Samer and Brandy Kerwin Rawashdeh; brother, Ayden Rawashdeh, and sister, Marly Rawashdeh; maternal grandmother, Deborah Kerwin and paternal grandmother, Sabah Rawashdeh and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Harold Kerwin Jr. and paternal grandfather, Salameh Rawashdeh. A visitation for Zayd will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 9am to 11am with a brief Memorial service at 11am at Ourso Funeral Home 13533 Airline Hwy Gonzales, La. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest at Serenity Oaks Cemetery, Hwy 73, Prairieville, La. Pallbearers will be, Ayden Rawashdeh, Khaled Matarneh, Ian Wallace, Abram Lawless, Aiden Gilet, Bryce Weathers, Josh Barrow, and Max Heintz. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La.
