William "Billy" Bourgeois

William "Billy" Bourgeois, age 71, of Gonzales, La passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and retired from R.R. Cassidy, Inc. with 25 years of service. He was survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Kay Denham Bourgeois; sister, Mona Rivet Brockman (Jerry); brother, Lynn Rivet (Elaine); granddaughters, Kayla and Victoria Andre; great grandson, Stephen Paul Waguespack; nephew, Steven Brockman (Stephanie); nieces, Linda Nethken (Michael), and Lisa Benoit (Mickey). He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Nicole Bourgeois; parents, Henry and Vera Roddy Strickland; and father, Abel Bourgeois. A visitation for Billy will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 5 PM to 7 PM and will resume on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 9 AM with funeral services at 11 AM at Ourso Funeral Home 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, La. Billy will be laid to rest in Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, La.
