Todd Patrick Alexander (b. 7/11/1973 d. 8/31/2022) passed from this world at his home on August 31st from complications of a congenital heart condition at the age of 49. Hardworking and diligent, he was the fourth-generation operator of a family-owned precast concrete business. Extremely talented, he always said he could make concrete dance. Although stoic and philosophical by nature, he possessed a keen wit and a remarkable ability to attract friends of all ages and walks of life. Generous and compassionate, Todd cared more about the concerns of his family and friends than his own. A self-taught guitarist, Todd was a founding member of the band Glitchell. Todd will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. He is survived by his loving daughter, Leigh Paige Alexander; his parents, Donald and Nancy Polzin Alexander; his two godchildren, Britt Alexander Fox (Austin) and Grant Alexander; aunts and uncles, Jamiee and Jeffrey Aldridge, Chip Roughton, and Dexa and Tom Morgan; cousins, Julie Pontiff (Nick), Jessica Dugas (Terry), Ryan Roughton (Madi), Jessica Haley, and Gary Alexander of Ida, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Jeff Alexander and wife Therese; wife, Lindsey Buell, and treasured friends too numerous to list. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leigh Ann Alexander; maternal grandparents, Jim and George Polzin; paternal grandparents, Pat and Anne Alexander; aunts, Vicki Lynn Polzin and Patti P. Roughton. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Todd’s life. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the American Heart Association would be greatly appreciated. To his darling daughter Leigh, he was trying to be the best dad he could be. In his own words, she was, “the light of his life, his heart walking, his biggest blessing, and his best friend. THE REASON!” Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.oursofh.com for the Alexander family.
