Sylvia "Tibby" Comeaux Allen

Sylvia “Tibby” Comeaux Allen, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August, 28, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was a native Des Allemands, Louisiana and resident of St. Amant, Louisiana. Sylvia gave 45 years of service to Avon. She had a good heart, kind soul and was very patient with others. She was always very supportive of her family in whatever they did. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Allen; daughter, Deborah Allen Eiermann and husband, Keith; son, Glen Allen; grandchild, Kevin Eiermann and wife Chelsey; two step-great-grandchildren, Savannah and J.P.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alma Savoie Comeaux and sister, Patricia Comeaux Saluto. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at First United Methodist Church (224 West Constitution Street, Gonzales, LA 70707) from 9:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales. A reception will be held immediately following interment at The First United Methodist Celebration Center. Pallbearers will be Keith Eiermann, Kevin Eiermann, Dino Saluto, John Reynolds, Clay Wolfe, Jr., Will Duplantis, Carey Babin, and Blake Hunter.
