Shirley Anna Landry

Shirley Anna Landry, age 74, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was a native of Caldwell, TX and resident of Gonzales, LA. Shirley enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, and cooking. She also loved going to the camp and fishing. Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Louis Landry; sister, Nelda Powell and husband Howard; sister-in-law, Veronica Hebert; nieces, Joy Sparks and husband Terry, Celia Carpenter and husband Michael, Joycelynn Craig and husband Joel, Swaantje Hoffman and husband Kevin; nephew, Paul Powell and wife, Marcha, Danny Powell and wife Kari; nephew, Glen Hurst; brother-in-law, William Hurst and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Scott and Stella Norville Scott; brother, Dan Scott and wife Corrie Scott; brother-in-law, Melvin Hebert; sister-in-law Marie Hurst. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 9:30 am until service time at 11:00 am. Entombment will immediately follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
