Shawn Christian Vidrine passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his home in Baton Rouge, La. He was 27 years old and adored by all who knew him for his infectious smile and fun loving personality. Shawn was a graduate of Ascension High School and attended Southeastern in Hammond, La. He was an avid billiards player, a dedicated demo-skateboarder and a passionate golfer. He was loved by many and loved many. Shawn is survived by his mother, Karen Wolfram Bailey and step-father, Rodney Bailey; his father, Glenn Vidrine and step-mother, Robin Vidrine; his brother and best friend, Ryan Vidrine; brother, Noah Bailey; sister, Dana Sample; grandparents, Gwendolyn Miele and Ruth Wolfram; beloved parrot, Gizmo; and two canine companions, Bailey and Butler. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Gustave “Gus” and Ruby Vidrine, and Robert Wolfram; and his shadow, Bear. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev.
