Sharon Marie Villar, age 78, a resident of St. Amant, La. passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Acosta Bendily, 2 sons, Dwayne Acosta and Chad Acosta; brother, Dwight Babin; 3 grandchildren, Trent Acosta, Amanda Melancon, and Kelsee Landry and 7 great grandchildren, Ava Acosta, Ty Acosta, Ella Jo Acosta, Connor Melancon, Aubree Melancon, Baylee Melancon and Ryleigh Landry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Winthrop J. and Bella Parr Babin; sister, Patricia Babin Scarborough and brother, James “Sneaky” Babin. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2022 from 10 am until memorial service at 12 pm. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, French Settlement, La. Sharon will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. A gathering will be held at the church hall immediately following services.
