Sarah Diahn Clemmons

Sarah Diahn Clemmons passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the age of 40. A native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Gonzales, LA. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. Sarah was the proud mother of two wonderful boys; Colten Jess Davis and Ezra Carter Ashmore. She is survived by her mother Pam Mixon, her father Tony Carter and second mom Denise; sister Kelsey Lane Chapman and her husband Chris; niece Samantha; nephew Emmett and grandmother Sarah Ann Harris. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Carl J. Mixon; paternal grandfather Jesse Carter and wife Billie Carter and uncle Greg Carter.

Sarah was always a happy go lucky person with a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten your day. She was smart beyond belief and if she was unsure of something you could bet she would find a way to figure it out. She was always willing to help others with anything they needed. In her spare time she enjoyed dabbling in her crafts, a fun way to express herself, even if most the time there was also a true crime documentary in the background. But most of all she absolutely adored her two sons and being their mom was her highest honor in her life. Sarah will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Ourso Funeral home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA beginning at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hope Haven, 604 E. Hwy 30, Gonzales, LA 70737. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Tony Carter, Colten Davis, Jeremy Mixon, Jason Carter, Zack Carter and Brian Ducote.
