A lifelong “Louisianan” and resident of Maurepas, he passed away April 7, 2011 at the age of 52. Ronnie was a proud member of The Baton Rouge Boat Club and an avid fan of the L.S.U. Tigers and The Saints. He enjoyed living on the Amite River, boating and his famous crayfish boils. He lived life to the fullest. He will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by a sister, Debbie Cobb; brother, Scotty Cobb and wife, Stephanie; step-brothers, Frankie and Donald Cox; step-mother, Bobbie J. Cobb; nieces, London Bagaley and husband, Jonathan, Madison Cobb, Ashley Cox, Cassie Cox; nephews, Landon Jackson, Austin Rashall, Hunter Cobb, Cameron Cox; five great-nephews; and best friend, Buffy. Preceded in death by father, Ronald G. Cobb; mother and step-father, Bobbie M. and Bill Shipp; paternal grandparents, JR and Lee Vern Cobb; maternal grandparents, Telesphor and Ledie Mire; nephew, Devon Jackson; niece, Kayla Cox; step-brothers, John and Jimmy Cox. Pallbearers will be Scott Cobb, Frankie Cox, Landon Jackson, Austin Rashall, Cameron Cox, Glynn Blanchard, Randy Kinchen, and Eddie Johnson. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday, April 15, 2011, at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until a service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Baton Rouge.
