Ronald “Ronnie” “Mule” Ayo, 72, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Gonzales passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna McGhee Ayo; daughter, Stephanie Ayo Brown and husband Ryan; Son, Jeff; Son, Greg Fulcher; brother-in-law, Gary McGhee; son-in-law, Edward Gianelloni, IV; grandchildren, Jordan, Rowan, Ashlie, Aimee, Amber, Andrew, Amanda, Austin, Carolina, Crystal and Taylor; great grandchildren, Madison, Preston, Ethan, Madelyn, Ellie, Camille and Brynn. Preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Fulcher Gianelloni; parents, Clifton and Earline Bergeron Ayo, Sr.; brother, Clifton Ayo, Jr. and brother-in-law, Ronnie McGhee. Ronnie was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a wonderful friend to many. Ronnie was an avid LSU fan. He played football for Thibodaux High School and Memphis State University. He retired as an independent truck driver for the chemical industry. He was also a pensioner for McDermott as a crane operator and served proudly on the Thibodaux Police Department. Ronnie enjoyed all sports, family get togethers, but especially watching the grands and greats play sports and anything else they were involved in. He also enjoyed traveling with Donna. Memorial visitation and services will be held at Ascension Baptist Church, 13432 Airline Hwy Gonzales, LA 70737 on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 9am until Memorial services at 11am.
