Robert Franklin Jones

A resident of Baton Rouge and native of St. Louis, Missouri, he went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2012. He was 74 and a retired maintenance supervisor for American Cyanamid. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm. Visiting will resume on Friday, October 12 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Baton Rouge from 10am until funeral services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Lewis Richardson. Interment to follow in Oak Lane Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Geraldine Davis Jones; two daughters, Brenda Sue Jones Monsour and Terri Ann Jones; sister, Sue Nell Jones Berger; two granddaughters, Rebecca Ann Monsour and Rachel Louise Monsour; and a nephew, John David Berger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin E. and Mary Mabrey Jones. Pallbearers will be John Berger, Jim Jones, Charles Jones, Jeff Jones, Justin Jones, Mason Jones, Christopher Ferrara and Woody Yandle.
