Pearl Marie Tullier Poche passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 91. She has now rejoined her late husband, Earl “Grits” Poche, in their heavenly home as well as her child Baby Poche, her great-grandbaby Bryant Belanger and her parents Elmo and Nita Tullier. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; Farley Painter (Trudy), Todd Poche (Kim), Teel St. Pierre (Aaron), Tad Poche (Patti) and Tanny Vaughan (John “Bean”), her grandchildren; Farley Jr., Gad, Joel, Courtney, Haley, Jordy, Tyler, Emily, Miranda, Caleb, Jael, Javan, Jordan, Gavin, Cody, Cort, Caige, Caystin, Dylan and Hayden and 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Bradley Tullier (Karen), their children; Kippi, Kolby, Kacey and numerous family members and friends.
Pearl’s larger than life personality will truly be missed by all who knew her. She truly was the life of the party. She loved to listen to music and share a dance with her family and friends. She was a collector of jewelry, especially her earrings, she had a pair for every occasion and a story to go with it. Pearl didn’t know a stranger, she made friends anywhere she went. It was no surprise that she was the “Queen” of the nursing home and she owned up to her title year round, not just Mardi Gras time. She was full of spunk, had a feisty side, but most of all she loved with all of her heart. Pearl will always hold a spot in our hearts for all of the memories we have been blessed to make with her.
