Pattie Broussard Lewis, was born July 26, 1966 in Picayune, Ms. and raised in Poplarville, Ms. She was a registered nurse who worked at Woman’s Hospital in the NICU. She worked at various hospitals in the Baton Rouge area before finding her true passion in the NICU. She had many hobbies including watching her favorite Houston Astros, especially when they became the national champions by winning the World Series, touring the US to see many baseball stadiums, traveling with friends and family, listening to Elton John, watching what she referred to as “murder TV”, and reading interesting and unique obituaries to see the interesting lives people had lead. Pattie made the journey home to be with her parents on Monday, July 3, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Williams (Trent) and her precious granddaughter, Mazie Jo; her Nanny Kay Dornier; sisters, Paula Gebhart (Mike), Penny Hood, and Pamela Selvage (Terry); nieces, Gabby Broussard (Tim Hills), and Terryn Selvage; nephews, Jase Broussard (Hailey) and TJ Selvage; great niece and nephew, Lilah Broussard and Tim Hills III; her beloved Tuffy Dog and by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and some awesome friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Betty Richardson Broussard; grandparents, Myrtle and Joseph Broussard. The family would like to express their gratefulness to Dr. Bryan Bienvenu and his staff at Mary Bird Perkins and the staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. Visitation for Pattie will be held at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
