Patricia A. Gautreau

Patricia Ann Babin Gautreau born on October 11, 1941, a native and resident of St. Amant, LA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, June 4, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who loved decorating and cleaning her home to the “T”. She was a great cook and a master of the “coffee milk” for her grandkids. One of her favorite past times was finding deals at garage sales. She was married to the love of her life for 65 years. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren were her pride and joy and she had the pictures to prove it. There was a lot of sass in that small frame that will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dennis Gautreau, Jr; her daughters, Michelle (Daniel) Boudreaux, Suzanne (Chirs) Bourgeois, Phyliss Marchand, Dana (Tony) Batts; grandchildren, Megan Starkey, Jordan Bourgeois, Adrian Bourgeois, Katie Boudreaux, Maria Marchand, Hunter Batts; great grandchildren, Jersey Bourgeois, Grace Starkey, Baylor Bourgeois, Reid Starkey, Bryn Bourgeois, Jacques Bourgeois, and Jace Starkey; and sisters, Lucy Richey and Sherry Borne. She was preceded in death by her son, Troy Gautreau; her parents, Wilson “Gro” Babin and Pearl Bourgeois Babin Gautreau; brother, Claude Babin; and sister, Dolores Rouyea. The family would like to offer a special thanks to caregivers Julie Duhe and Melissa Braud as well as the staff of ‘In His Care Hospice”. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 9:30AM-11:30AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Boudreaux, Chris Bourgeois, Tony Batts, Jordan Bourgeois, Adrian Bourgeois, and Hunter Batts.
