Matthew Joseph Britt, age 26, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016 in Hammond, La. He was a native of Shreveport and resident of Gonzales, LA. Mr. Britt was a painter by trade and worked at many of the area chemical plants. Mr. Britt is survived by his son Ayden Wooten; parents- James (Magoo) and Sherie Britt; sister- Monette Porrier and brother Michael Britt all of Gonzales. His Paternal Grandmother- Helen Britt Rarick of Central, La. Matthew is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother Barbara Clark. He will truly be missed by many. Visitation begins Saturday, April 30, 2016 at noon until service time at 3pm, Rev. Mike Robertson will officiate at Ourso Funeral Home and Cremation will take place following the funeral service.
