Mary "Liz" E. Clement

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Clement. Liz passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on March 1, 2025 in Gonzales, La. She was born November 8, 1953 and grew up in Reserve and LaPlace. She graduated from Leon Godchaux High School then resided in Loranger, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Helen Delhommer, sister Maria Delhommer Acosta, niece Ida Baracca and nephew Johnathan Louque. She is survived by her children Christopher Clement, Courtney Clement and Kelly Clement. Her two grandchildren Shelbi Clement and Keri Clement and two great grandchildren Coleman and Claylynn Flott. She is also survived by her sisters JoAnn Madere, Donna Allison and many nieces and nephews. Liz loved her family and she will be greatly missed. While we are mourning our loss, others are rejoicing to meet her behind the veil. A family service will be held at a later date at St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve, La.
