The gates of heaven opened for beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Lori Ann Frederic, age 50, of Lake, La on May 30, 2022, with a mantra of faith over fear, Lori fought a courageous battle. An angel gained, she will live on in all the lives she touched on earth. Lori was born on December 9, 1971 to Herman and Geraldine All Frederic. Lori graduated from St. Amant High School in 1989 and went on to study at Ascension Vo-Tech. She immediately accepted a job opportunity as an administrative assistant with Dr. Ronald Landry, a pediatric dentist. She worked for Dr. Landry for 12 years. To advance her passion and commitment to the field of dentistry, in 2002, she began working for Dr. Bryan Hollis. Dr. Hollis employed Lori to assist him in staring a new Orthodontic practice from ground up in Ascension. Lori was the first employee hired for this effort which cultivated into three offices. She quickly became the friendly face of Hollis Orthodontics as the Office manager, establishing relationships with the new patients, and emerging as a leader among the staff. Lori recently completed 20 years with Hollis Orthodontics having an extraordinary reputation for excellent patient care and service with generations of patients. Affectionally known as Lo, Lo Lo, Nanny Lo, and Aunt Lo, Lori adored her nieces and nephews. One of the greatest joys of her life was being a second mother to her nephews, Brant and Jace. Lori poured love on her nieces and nephews and was selfless in her commitment to the needs of her family, embracing her role as a mentor and always being an unending example of love and grace. With her infectious smile, you could often find Lori enjoying boiled crawfish, snow crabs and Bloody Marys. She also loved shopping and decorating her home. Lori was preceded in death by her father, Herman J. Frederic, her grandparents, Joseph “JP” and Violet Gautreau Frederic and Peter, Sr. and Iona Babin All. Lori is survived by her mother, Geraldine All Frederic, her sisters, Nadine Frederic LeBlanc and spouse Kevin, and Gina Frederic Alleman and spouse Greg; nieces and nephews, Danielle Wallace, Alyssa LeBlanc and Spouse Billy LeBeouf, Brant Alleman and Jace Alleman, and great nieces Grace, Eden and Layla; and her godmother, Cattie Frederic Bercegeay. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation services at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La. on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm as well as Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:30 pm at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales, La. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum in St. Amant, La. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Kevin LeBlanc, Greg Alleman, Brant Alleman, Jace Alleman, Billy LeBoeuf, Bryan Hollis, Cody All and Chuck Sheets.
