Linda Johnson Braud

Linda Johnson Braud passed away at her home on November 10, 2022 at the age of 66. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and has been a longtime resident of French Settlement, LA. She was born on June 14, 1956 to the late Lawton Johnson and the late Helen Bourque Johnson. She is survived by her children: Kendi Johnson (David Hoover), Kay Braud (Barry Ricca Jr.) and Barry Braud Jr. (Kimberly Bercegeay), her grandchildren; Jaiden Braud, Brileigh Duke, Jerry Rouyea, Caleb Hoover, Bennett Braud, Anthony Hoover and Dillon Bedell(Marissa), her great-grandchildren; Asher Hoover, Jarrett and Cecilia Bedell and her sisters Sheila Johnson Halker and Kathy Sanders (Tony). She is also survived by family friends JD and Rimmy and numerous nieces, nephews and family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Braud Sr., her parents, and her brother Johnny Johnson. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda enjoyed gardening, baking and watching her shows, but most of all spending time with her family. Her family was always her most prized accomplishment in life. Linda also had a love for her dogs, they were truly her companions till the end. Her loving personality will be missed dearly.
