John “Duke” Taylor age 58, a resident of Gonzales, LA passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Beckman; mother, Patricia Juneau Taylor; daughter, Lylyanna Mychelle Beckman; sons, Zachary Mason Taylor, Luke Melvin Beckman-Taylor, Reymundo “Tony” Beckman; sister, Tammy Rene Taylor; brother, Jeffrey Paul Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin James Taylor; Paternal grandparents, Bartha “Red” Michael and Mary Magdeline Teto and maternal grandparents, Abner “Pop” Luke and Lois “Momo” Bordelon Jumeau. A celebration of life for John will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 10:30 am to 1 pm The memorial service will be from 11 am to 12 pm. at New Song Community Church, 18465 Old, Perkins Rd, Prairieville, LA 70769.
