John “Hubert” Braud, a long-time resident of Ascension Parish, born September 1, 1934 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 18, 2022. He was 88 years old. He was a retired business man, the face of B & H Food Store. He is survived by his 4 children, Keith Braud (Toni), Mark Braud (Tammy), Rhonda Veazey (Mark), and Jeff Braud (Debra); his longtime companion, Leslie (Lenai) Braud; sisters, Agnes Heintze (Hank), Mary Robbins (Roy), Shirley Delatte (Ronald), and Lee Perdue, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held in his honor on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ourso Funeral Home 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, La.
