John Neville Bourque

John Neville Bourque passed away at 1:39 AM on Friday April 15, 2016, at his home in Prairieville at the age of 80. He was a native of Gonzales and a resident of Prairieville. John was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from Kaiser in Gramercy after 30 years. He is survived by Mary, his wife of 50 years, sons Troy N. (wife Christine), Ashley W. (wife Angi), and Patrick W. (wife Alice), sister Jeanette Blanchard, grandchildren: Brandon, Devin, Dustin, Alexis, Jonah and Sophie. Preceded in death by parents Oswald J. and Lillian L. Bourque; brother-in-law Sidney Blanchard. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews. Visitation on Monday April 18, 2016 from 10 AM – 12 PM at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church until religious services at 12 PM celebrated by Father Phil Spano. Interment will follow immediately after at Cornerview Cemetery in Gonzales. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association .
