Joel Lee Franz II

Joel L. "TJ" Franz II, a resident of Gonzales, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 31. He is survived by his beloved wife, Noelle Waguespack-Franz; and sons and daughter, Gavin, Savanna, and Maddox Franz. He was the beloved son of Joel and Belinda Franz, of Prairieville; and brother of Jolynda "Jodi" Franz Martin and Bobby Martin, of St. Amant, Rebecca Franz McCasland and Doug McCasland, of Houston, Michael and Kayla Franz, of Gonzales, and Johnny and Lacey Franz, of Walker. Also survived by his grandparents, Kenneth and Joyce Moree, of Walker, and Theresa Franz, of Lafayette; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hubert and Arlene Waguespack, of Gonzales; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chad and Dovie Waguespack; and nieces and nephews, Robbie and Victoria Martin, Trace Franz, Caden McCasland and Liam Michael Franz. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Franz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Tuesday, June 28, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 29, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Burial at Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales. Pallbearers are Michael Franz, Johnny Franz, Gavin Franz, Justilien "JP" Thibodeaux, Ronnie Bottoms, Tyler Simmons, Less Townsend and Brandon "Porkchop" Atkinson.
