Hubert P. Waguespack Jr.

Hubert “Bean” Paul Waguespack, Jr. was born on December 3, 1952 and passed away from complications brought on by Pulmonary Fibrosis on December 1, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. He was 58 and native of Gramercy and resident of Gonzales. Hubert “Bean” is survived by his wife of 31 years, Arlene Vitrano Waguespack of Gonzales; his children, Chad Waguespack and wife Dovie, and Noelle Waguespack-Franz ; grandson, Maddox Paul Franz and future grandson Dexter Cayden Waguespack; father, Hubert Paul Waguespack Sr. of Gramercy; sisters, Cathy W. Bougeois and husband Danny “Buck” of Gonzales, Debra W. Roques and husband Dennis of Lutcher; brother, David Waguespack, Sr. and wife Amy of Gramercy; nieces and nephews, Jared Bourgeois, Vicki Bourgeois Tate, Brittany Bourgeois Hatcher, Jamie Roques Donaldson, Daniel Roques and David Waguespack, Jr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Minuet Waguespack; sister-in-law, Stephanie Vitrano; and son-in-law Joel “TJ” Franz II. He enjoyed commercial fishing, shrimping, and crabbing as well as hunting and playing with his grandson. He was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. A memorial will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Church, 1022 N. Burnside Ave. in Gonzales, on Tuesday, December 6 from 8:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. – Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales is in charge of arrangements.
