

Lord God, From whom human sadness is never hidden You know the burden of grief that we feel at The loss of Gracie. As we mourn this passing From this life, comfort us with the knowledge That Gracie is now and forever in your loving Embrace. Gracie Ann Lavigne is a Daughter, a Sister, Granddaughter, Niece, a cousin, and a friend, at a young age of 14 lost her battle to cancer in her home surrounded by her loving family. She went to be with our Lord God, her cousin and friend Aimee, and other family members on October 18th, 2015 at 7:22am. Gracie is survived by her Parents; Brad and Michelle Lavigne, two sisters; Alyssa and Megan. Grand Parents; Sam and Cynthia Lavigne, Jay and Patsy Graham. Four Ucles and Aunts; Jimmy and Kristi Ohmer, Jamie and Babette Lavigne, Greg and Leighann Graham, Billy and Allyson Wilson. Nine cousins; Allison, Maddy, Ema, Britt, Logan, Blake, Duncan, Hudson, and Griffin. Two of her very best friends Abby Sonnier and David Boylan. Gracie, is preceded in death by her cousin and friend Aimee Braud. These two children have fought a courageous battle of cancer together with the many trips to St. Jude. They were each other's rock through treatment, and were always there for each other in their time of need. Gracie is also preceded in death by two Great Uncles, David Bordelon and Wayne "Skip" Wiley, Great Grandparents; Jack and Viola Wiley, Foster and Lucille Bordelon, Allie and Valois Lavigne, and August and Rita White. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, LA on Monday, October 19, 2015, from 5pm to 9pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 10am until funeral service at 11am. Funeral services officiated by Brother Ken Spivey, along with friends and family members. Burial at Hope Haven Cemetery on LA HWY 30 in Gonzales. We would love to give many thanks to St. Jude Hospital and Affilliate Clinic. Drs. Fariba Navid, Elizabeth Stewart, Sheila Moore, and Dr. Black. To all of the great nurses and staff there as well. Also, to Baton Rouge Hospice; Nurse Katherine, Tina, Kristi, Kim, Xarmenia, and Denise. Also special thanks to "The Little Angels Foundation".
