George "G.W." Anderson

George “G.W.” Anderson, a life-long resident of Gonzales, La, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the age of 82. G.W. was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and going to the hunting camp. He is survived by 2 daughters, Laurie White (Donnie Sr.), and Sharie Longa (Marty); son, Dirk Anderson (Kelly); grandchildren, Leann White, Donnie White Jr. (Melissa), Matthew Longa (Lynzi), Timothy Longa ( fiance’ Kristy Ellis), Delaney Thomassie (Cy), and Abbey Anderson; great grandchildren, Vallarie, Grayden, Evan, Brynlee, Harleigh, Karsyn, Briggs, Kip, Luca, Austin, and Wyatt; sisters, Mary Rouyea and Beulah Bourque (Kenneth); brothers, William Otis Anderson (Michele), and David Anderson (Renee) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and his loving dog Lucy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Argrave Anderson; parents, Clarence and Nancy Anderson; 2 sisters, Judy Brignac and Shirley LeBlanc and a brother, Bentley Anderson. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 9 am until funeral at 1 pm at Ourso Funeral Home 13533 Airline Hwy Gonzales, La. He will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery 604 E. Hwy 30, Gonzales, La. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home.
