Frank Joseph Mistretta, a native of Donaldsonville, La and a resident of Baton Rouge, La died on March 2, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He died at the Carpenter House St. Joseph Hospice at the age of 87 surrounded by his family. Frank was a graduate of Nicholls State University. After college, he worked as a school teacher for seven years and then worked for Texaco/Motiva for 31 years as an accountant. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rita Mae Hebert Mistretta; son, Sam Mistretta (Arline) and their children Nicole Mistretta and Matthew Mistretta (Madison); son, Clayton Mistretta; daughter, Adrienne Mistretta Bergeron (Brian Elrod) and her children, Corinne Bergeron (Daniel Welborn), Caroline Bergeron, Grant Bergeron and their father Troy Bergeron; and sister, Laura Mistretta Cuicchi (Jim). He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Angeline Regira Mistretta, and mother-in-law, Ura Mae Hebert. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, La from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm. Frank will be laid to rest at Serenity Oaks Cemetery in Prairieville, La. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. William H.
