An artist, musician, carpenter, devoted husband and loving father, he passed away the evening of Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, near his home in Prairieville. He was 52 and a native of Ascension Parish. Survived by his wife, Davina Catherine Ourso, of Prairieville; father, Floyd N. Ourso Sr., of Donaldsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Ulysses Carbo, of Donaldsonville; brothers and sisters-n-law, Bill and Charlene Ourso, of Baton Rouge and Todd and Pamela Ourso, of St. Amant; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Floyd and Amanda Ourso, Shane Castille, and Charles Ourso all of Prairieville; and three grandchildren, Aidan, Sophie and Grayson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Ann Landry Ourso. A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Friday, Jan. 7, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a service held at 6 p.m., conducted by the family.
