Mrs. Evelyn Hymel

She was a women who will be remembered for her love of books. She enjoyed reading and shopping. She was known for her stylish flair. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by husband Douglas P. Hymel; grandchild, Daniel Joseph Savoie; parents, Bernadette and Claude Hidalgo Sr; brothers, Claude Hidalgo Jr and Merrick Hidalgo.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Moore (T-Boy), Gwen Johnson (Mickey) and Connie Savoie (Jimmy); grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Jared Moore, Jami Moore, Austin Savoie, Stefanie Savoie; great-grandchildren, Breanna Johnson, Brodie Johnson, Josiah Cox; sisters, Virgie Verret, Shirley Campesi, Theresa Campesi, Geralyn LeBouef and one brother, Edward Hidalgo.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:00am- 11:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00. The entombment will immediately follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum.
