Donnie Ray Martin Sr., a lifelong resident of Colyell, LA passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was 66 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Karen Taylor Martin; children, Katie Martin, Donnie Martin Jr. (Judy), Donald Martin, and Jeffery Martin; grandchildren, Elizabeth Clark, Laura Clark, Brantley Martin, Garrett Martin, Valon Martin and Jase Martin; sisters, Rosie Williams and Connie Martin; brother, Dale Martin (Donna); mother-in-law, Mary Taylor; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeanie Martin, Linda and Jody Watts and Ricky and Vanessa Taylor, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Den and Ella Dee Martin; granddaughter, Lexis Martin; brothers, Chester Martin and Rusty Martin; father-in-law, Roosevelt Taylor and brother-in-law, Edgar Williams. Services for Donnie will be held at Colyell Baptist Church 19524 Hwy 42, Livingston, LA 70754. Visitation will be on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5 pm to 9 pm and will resume on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 9 am with the funeral service starting at 11 am. He will be buried in Colyell Community Cemetery. Mark Williams, Christopher Williams, Dean Martin, Brandon Martin, Brayden Reeves, and Logan Grenade will be Pallbearers.
