Don Richardson

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016, 11:00 am at The Lake Chapel for Mr. Don Richardson. Visitation will also be held at The Lake Chapel prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Mausoleum. Mr. Richardson passed away at his home on Monday, November 28, 2016. He was 59. Don worked for many years at Performance Contractors, Inc. He loved his job there. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, going on fishing trips with Performance Contractors and cruises with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Burns Richardson; daughter, Ashlee Richardson Delacerda; son, Troy Joseph Richardson; daughter-in-law, Suzette Templet Richardson; grandchildren, Gage Delacerda, Billie Delacerda, Joseph Richardson, Ani Richardson; sisters, Melinda Millet and husband Ronnie, Rhonda Faye Templet and husband Gary Templet, Kitty Landry and husband Randolph Landry; brother, Danny Richardson and wife Cheryl; brother-in-law, Steve and Melissa Burns; sisters-in-law, Dody and Kerby Eliser, Lana and Kip Landry, Shannon and Micah Venable and mother and father-in-law, Carol Simpson Burns and Clarence (C.J.) Burns. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Eunice Richardson and nieces, Katie Richardson and Kelli Bourgeois. Pallbearers will be Kip Landry, Troy Richardson, Gary Guillory, Cory Simineaux, Timmy Martin, Gary Melancon, Danny Richardson and Kerby Eliser. Honorary pallbearers will be Art Favre, Kevin Courville, C.J. Burns, Steve Burns, Cody Landry, Christian Fast and Micah Venable.
