Lowe, Daniel Charles, 56, a resident of Prairieville, LA was called home on May 31, 2018 after a brief but intense battle with cancer. He was surrounded by friends and family. Danny was a man of strong faith and was never afraid to show it. He enjoyed hunting and bowling, breathed LSU and Saints football, and loved being with friends and spending quality time with his family. He was employed with Zachry Industries at BASF as a millwright until his illness. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Dawn Hernandez Lowe; son Dane Lowe; daughter Macy Lowe; mother Nell Ivy and step-father Marvin Ivy; sister Laura Lowe; brothers: Michael Lowe and wife Shari, and Larry Ivy; brother-in-law Gary “Bub” Hernandez Jr and wife Lexie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Lowe and step-mother Ethel Lowe. Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 9:30am until a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Serenity Oaks cemetery. Pallbearers will be Walter Benson, Jason Templet, Jake Benson, Gary “Bub” Hernandez Jr, Eric Nicholson, and Chad Cannella. Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Underwood. The family would like to send a special thank you to all of the family and friends who have helped during this difficult time and especially to Dr. J.
