Clyde David Anderson Sr.

A native of Prairieville and resident of St. Gabriel, he passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was 59 years old and a retired plant operator for Honeywell. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen "Tee" Argrave Anderson; daughter, Kylie Anderson Woods; son and daughter-in-law, BoJack and Lacey Anderson; five grandchildren, Drew and Kaitlyn Woods and Blatiney, Brody, and Braelynn Anderson; three sisters, Laverne Moore, Alice Buratt, and Joann Guedry and husband Nolan; two brothers, James “Jimmy” Anderson and wife Sheila and Cecil “Doc” Anderson and wife Sue; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Leona Villar “L.C.” and Ehlert Frank “Doc” Anderson; two sisters, Earline Elisar and Rosalie Gill; and two brothers, Honore Ray Anderson and Ehlert Frank Anderson Jr. A visitation will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Charlie Landry. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel Catholic Church Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Robert Tircuit, James “Bubby” Argrave, Dirk Anderson, Jessie Argrave, Joey McGaha, Jeremy Argrave, Robert Anderson, and Teddy Buratt.
