A native of Sheldon, Iowa and a resident of Prairieville, La. passed away Wednesday November 4, 2015 at his residence at the age of 68. He was a heavy equipment operator and an employee of RE/MAX PLUS at the time of his death. A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 10:00 am until a celebration of life at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Mike Robertson. He is survived by his best friend and the love of his life Jan McElwee, 2 daughters: Stormy Morris and Tesha Jackson, 4 sons: Yancy Morris, Corey Morris, Rowdy Morris and Brad McElwee, 2 sisters: Sharon Morris and Marla Morris, 6 grandchildren: Caleb Jackson, Cole Jackson, Jack Cameron Jackson, Connor McElwee, Carson McElwee and Cade McElwee. He is preceded in death by his parents: William Philip Morris and Margaret E. Linch Morris. He enjoyed fishing, working around his house and helping others around their house. Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales is in charge of arrangements.
