Charles Robert Henderson, Sr. passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the age of 81. He was a native of Wichita Falls, TX and a resident of Prairieville, LA. Charles enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially out on the water in his boat. He loved spending time with his family. He was very knowledgeable, tech savvy, and a handy man who could fix just about anything. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Henderson Hebert (David Capone); brother, George Henderson II; grandchildren, Daniel and Charles Hebert, Nikki Henderson, and Heather Brandon; great grandchildren, Aurora and Iris Brandon. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Decuir Henderson; son, Charles Robert Henderson, Jr.; and parents, George Edwin Henderson I and Mabel Daigle Henderson.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 20, 2024 at St. John Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with mass beginning promptly at 12. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Prairieville mausoleum. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Alex Paul, David Capone, Jeremy Lanoux, George “Butch” Henderson III, Bruce Clouatre, and DJ Deville. Honorary pallbearers include, Daniel and Charles Hebert.
