Catherine Rivault Landry

Catherine Landry, age 93, passed away on Thursday, February 05, 2015. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Patricia Landry Hingle; son Leon Paul Landry, and Brenda; grandchildren, Jennifer Landry Board and husband, Lyle; Walter Chip Hingle Jr.; Dr. Allyson Joy Hingle Boudreaux and husband, Dr. Kelly Boudreaux Jr.; Alexis Judith Hingle Papizan and husband William “Billy” Papizan; Chelsea Joe Landry, Colbi Alaine Landry, and mother, Jana King; great-grandchildren, Everett and Eldon Board; Kellan, Cole, and Klein Boudreaux. She is preceded in death by her husband, JB Landry Sr.; son, Joe Landry Jr.; infant son Leonce Paul Landry; siblings, Lawrence, Hazel, Emily, Evelyn, Theodore, Ena and Sonny. She was a native of Brusly, LA and resident of Prairieville. Catherine loved tending to her flowers and garden. She had a greenhouse with hundreds of plants she cared for daily. Catherine was an incredible cook. She showed compassion and unconditional love for her family and Christ. Catherine loved to play the piano and sing “You Are My Sunshine”. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed by all. Rosary and visitation will begin at 9:45 am until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am on Monday, February 9, 2015 at St. John the Evangeline Catholic Church in Prairieville celebrated by Fr.
