Carlos Moreno

Carlos Moreno entered eternal life on March 18, 2021. He was a native of Sinton, Texas and a resident of Prairieville, Louisiana. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Brenda Matherne Moreno, his children; Yvette Moreno, Anthony Moreno (Rebecca) and Chaz Moreno. He is preceded in death by his parents; Manuela and Enemencio Farias and Panfilo Moreno and his brother Israel Moreno. Those that will serve as pallbearers; Anthony Moreno, Chaz Moreno, Adam Moreno, Darren Johnson, Michael Darst, Duane Carpenter, James Argrave III and Brandon Moran. Carlos will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. His kind heart and never ending jokes will be missed by many.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Anointed Health Care Services, Ascension Council on Aging, ABC Case Management, OLOL Nurses on SDV2, Dr. Shawn Hall, Conchita and staff for the continued support through the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a night wake at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5PM till 8PM, a visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Ourso from 9AM till 11AM. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11AM. Presiding over the service will be Pastor Brad Dixon. The interment will follow at Serenity Oaks Cemetery.
