Cadin Michael “Pep” “Bubba” Peppers, a native of St. Amant, and resident of Prairieville, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the age of 20. He was a son, brother, father, cousin, grandson and friend who will be greatly missed. He was a sweet, funny, compassionate, “mama’s boy”, and loyal friend. He enjoyed football, doing pranks, boxing, fishing, and spending time with his siblings. He was obsessed with a fresh pair tennis shoes, and always made sure his hair was perfect. He was also known for all the funny little dances he would do to make you laugh. Most of all he loved his family! His cousins were his first best friends, and they created countless happy memories together. Most of all, his last months of learning to be a father to Jayana was his greatest joy! He learned the true meaning of unconditional love through her. Cadin was able to provide one last act of compassion through donation of his organs. His family could not be prouder that he decided to pass on life to others, therefore a true hero in death.
He is survived by his loving mother, Rachaelle Gammill Koon; loving father, Todd Peppers; one daughter, Jayana Peppers; two sisters, Jordis and Adyson Peppers; brother, Reagan Koon; stepmother, Nancy Peppers and stepbrother Bailey Koon; grandparents; Laura and Curtis Gammill, and Debra & Kenneth Furlow. A long list of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Wayne Peppers; great grandparents, Glennon Pinell, Kathryn and Curtis Gammill; great uncles, Dairen “Bach” Pinell, Ronnie Peppers, and Lester Gary Peppers.
Special thanks to all the ICU & ER nurses, Dr. Raven and Dr. Culotta, who cared for Cadin in his last days. In Cadin’s honor please consider becoming an organ donor, or making a donation to the amazing non-profit organization LOPA, who helped to make life happen www.LOPA.org.
