Beverly Wall Dupree, a native of Lake, LA and a resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Bev’s 40 year career as a computer specialist with the US Navy took her around the world. During much of her career, she worked in Washington DC. After retiring, Bev returned to Lake to care for her mother full time. Bev will be remembered for her big personality and her generosity. She had an exceptional memory, especially for everyone’s favorite drink. She always kept her bar stocked with those liquors and wines to offer her guests. Bev is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Larry Dupree; her godchild, Marissa Rossi; and many special cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rita Tureau Wall and her father, Spelmar Wall. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, LA 70737 on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Wall Cemetery.
