God saw you getting weary. He did what He thought best. He put his arms around you and said, "Come and rest." He opened up His golden gates on that heartbreaking day, And with His arms around you, you gently slipped away. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Amy Theresa Bianca was born in Baton Rouge Louisiana to James and Alma Goff. She attended Glen Oaks High School and received an associate degree from LSU. She married Samuel Michael Bianca in 1981 and raised 3 children. Amy was a dedicated Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She has lived in Prairieville for over 30 years. She had fought a brave and courageous battle with cancer and passed peacefully into the arms of her lord after a brief stay at Saint Joseph’s Hospice (The Carpenter house) in Baton Rouge where she had gone not for healing but to be made whole again. She is remembered fondly as the youngest of 6 sisters. She enjoyed her family vacations to the beach, decorating for the holidays, and entertaining family and friends. Amy was a beautiful soul, a joy to our lives, and will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband Mike Bianca of 42 years, daughter Magan Michelle Bianca, sons Tony Michael Bianca, and Samuel Michael Bianca, daughter in law Jessica Michelle Jelks, two grand children Kasen and Kadence Jelks, Brooke and Tiffany Dies and families, five sisters – Charla Goff Foret and husband Ralph Foret, Karen Goff Stoy, Linda Goff Mire and husband David Mire, Celeste Goff Branum, two brothers, Thomas Keith Goff and Jimmy Murray Goff, and brothers-in-law, John David Colona, Frank Bianca, Dominick Bianca, Virginia Bianca and their families, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Preston Goff, Jr. and Alma Murray Goff, father-in-law, Tony Bianca and mother-in-law, Carol Rau Bianca, sister, Mary Goff Colona, two nephews, John Ryan Colona and Preston Benjamin Colona, niece, Cheramie Love Tacker, sister-in-law, Betty Goff, three brothers-in-law, William Stoy, David Branum, and Charlie Edenfield. There will be a “Celebration of Life” memorial service at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Highway, Gonzales, La on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Public visitation will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm.
