Allison "Allie" Rice

Allison Nicole “Allie” Rice, a resident of Geismar, La. passed away on Friday, Sept 16, 2022 at the age of 21. She was a senior at Louisiana State University “LSU”. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Angela Simon Engler and Travis Engler and father and stepmother, Paul and Kay Rice; Brothers, Aaron Rice and Anderson Rice; Stepsisters, Taylor Engler, Charlotte Hornsby and Natalie Hornsby; Stepbrothers, Dakota Hornsby and Max Hornsby; Maternal grandmother, Ramona Simon and paternal grandmother, Carolyn Blanchard; Godmother, Susie Granier and Godfather, Michael Simon. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Allie was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Randy Simon, paternal grandfather, Johnny Rice, and step grandparents, Lloyd and Theresa Engler. A gathering for Allie will be held on Tuesday, Sept 20, 2022 at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, La. from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, Sept 21, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 15208 Hwy 73, Prairieville, La at 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. She will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery – Prairieville, La. Pallbearers will be, Evan Simon, Nathan Simon, Michael Granier, Gerald Ray, Hunter Thomas, and Jonathan Granier.
