Alisha “Lee Lee” Edwards a life-long resident of Colyell, La. passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 36. Alisha was born a spunky adventurous girl full of smiles and hope. Her smile was infectious, and her laughter filled the room with joy, even in the most somber of times. She had a wonderfully beautiful soul, selflessly gave to others, and loved unconditionally. But what she loved the most was being a mommy. She was a wonderful mother to two beautiful children, Colt and Ailey Dickerson. She raised them to be loving and caring of others. They loved going on adventures and just being goofy together. Her colorful spirit will live on in Ailey and her kind heart in Colt. Alisha never met a stranger and helped everyone she could. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her 2 children, Aileana “Ailey” Dickerson and Reacie “Colt” Dickerson; mother, Tami Tate, and father, Gerald “Beaver” Edwards and wife, Andrea “Ani”; sister, Chantell Stamey and brother, Tyler Edwards; Paternal grandparents, Preston “Pep” and Barbara Edwards. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends. Alisha was preceded in death by nephew, Jared Stamey; Grandparents, G.P. Mike and Rejean “Granny” Tate and Gordon Koenig; Great grandparents, Pop and MeMe Fousse, Monroe and Irene Wheat, Gerald McMorris and Wiley and Ester Edwards. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug 11, 2022, from 9 am until funeral service at 11 am at Christ’s Community Church 26574 Juban Rd, Denham Springs, La. She will be laid to rest at Colyell Community Cemetery, S. Satsuma Rd, Livingston, La. Pallbearers will be Brandon Andrews, Kaleb Tate, Ryan Tate, Dustin Edwards, Derick Edwards, and Brennan McMorris. Honorary Pallbearers, Tyler Edwards, and Colt Dickerson. Alisha had a green thumb and loved plants, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to offset funeral expenses or purchase a plant for the family to take home.
