En esta vida, yo he recibido muchas bendiciones, pero... entre tantas... una de las mejores bendiciones q he recibido es tener una hermana como tu... te escribo esta carta a ti querida hermana con todo el cariño, te mando un fuerte abrazo hasta donde estés, después de este saludo mis ojos se humedecen por más q  me los limpio ya no me obedecen....nose si es la culpa, o solo es la nostalgia, quizás melancolía,  de lo q estoy segura es q tengo mucho dolor y trizteza o  quizás será tu magia estampada en la paredes de todos los recuerdos, de todos los momentos lindos q hemos vivido y muchos desacuerdos q siempre resolvimos con gritos amenazas ...y me abraza la memoria, tu risa me acorrala talves nadie lo note pero tu ausencia me apuñala me duele q ya no estés aquí para decirte de frente q este amor q siento es puro y permanente. Te fuiste y solo me queda decir q eres una gran hermana una  gran amiga una confidente q escuchaba y perdonaba, alguien q me aconsejaba q nunca decepcionaba alguien q me inspiraba y siempre me motivaba q con tus opiniones me alentabas a seguir, tu mi compañera de luchas y batallas.  Gracias por formar una parte de mi historia gracias por siempre despertar los recuerdos en mi memoria gracias por tu tiempo tu ayuda tu atención por tu cariño, gracias por no dejarme sola en mis momentos de locura de nunca darme la espalda siempre estuviste ahí conmigo no te imaginas como te voy a extrañar. Siempre estarás en mi corazón. Nunca voy a olvidar ese último abrazo q me diste  elúltimo día q te vi, un beso  hasta el cielo. Mi hermana del alma. 


One of the fondest memories that keeps circling in my mind since you left is when you were 13 and I was 11. Our only outing at that age was going to the market with mom and dad .. we had no choice but to go.. to make our outing a bit fun we would force dad to play the music we wanted and we would always play “the magneto cassette” we knew all the songs. When the song “vuela vuela” would come out … we would sign it so loud, we knew the lyrics by heart , we would sing from the top of our lungs … we would laugh and sing and annoy our parents .. We were happy … I remember you smiling at me with your perfect hairdo .. I make my mind go back there .. I need to .. My mind and heart still can’t comprehend you are NOT a call or text away 

Shirley, my beautiful friend, this is not a good bye, but  a "until we meet again" I can't believe you're gone 😭, we were just starting to catch up, we were planning to get together again like good old times, all the times we shared together with our girls, as a co-worker, desk partner, and friend for life, I will miss you dearly, I cannot imagine the pain your daughters, husband and family that you adored, are going through. They're continually in my prayers 🙏, may you rest in peace, I love you and miss you. Your friend for life, Linda.
