Ruthie was such a sweet friend to me. She was always so kind to me. I did not get the opportunity to know her for very long, but nonetheless, I loved her. I reconnected with her on facebook 3 months or so ago, after we quit talking for 12 years, due to a falling out which was based on a misunderstanding. Just maybe a month or so ago, she begged me to come see her at her house. Money was tight and I only had a quarter tank of gas in my car, so even though ruthie offered to give me me $20 for gas if I went out there, I declined because I thought I could go see her when things were better financially. But I didn't ever get that other chance. Going to visit her, to spend the dsy with her, getting to introduce her to "my" husband and getting to meet her's, I would have loved that so much! That would have made me so happy! As I am sure it also would have for ruthie as well! But I didn't seize that opportunity, and I will regret that for the rest of my life! ;-(   ruthie will always have a special place in my heart.
